DJ Quik Readies Mixtape, New Album

West Coast OG, DJ Quik, is prepping for the national release of his Trauma mixtape, which serves as a setup for a later studio album from Quik later this year on his Mad Science Recordings.

Eagerly anticipated by mixtape DJs around the world, Trauma marks the first time an artist will be mixing and hosting his own mixtape. The Trauma mixtape features five new tracks as well as hits from his decade-plus recording and producing career.

With tracks like Fandango featuring the first collabo ever with B-real of Cypress Hill, Ladies-N-Thugs with Wyclef Jean, and another track with Nate Dogg titled She Pass By, Trauma is setting up to be a hot mixtape. But supply will be limited as only 10,000 copies will be pressed.
